Catchphrase's £50,000 jackpot has been won for the very first time tonight.

Adei Bundy from East Midlands became the first woman and the first person ever to bag the maximum loot from the say what you see show.

I was lucky to catch up with Adei after the historic Catchphrase was aired on ITV/STV/UTV.

Here's what the inaugural winner had to say about her triumph.

Picture
Andy Gibson:  How does it feel to be the first ever winner of the £50000 jackpot of Catchphrase?

Adei Bundy:  Absolutely thrilling, I could genuinely see either of the other lads winning, so when I managed to get through I was just so happy and I'm proud of myself! It's an honour to be apart of catchphrase history cause I adore it!
Andy:  When you told Stephen Mulhern no-one was there to cheer you on, did you ever imagine you'd have such massive support on Twitter during your Catchphrase episode?

Adei:  Awh well even though I had nobody to support me in person - my family were there in spirit, but just couldn't afford to travel that far though they would have loved to be there, and friends had work and commitments etc but I had no idea that Twitter would explode like this!! Haha.
My mum is now trying to join Twitter so she can keep up haha.
Picture
Andy:  Aww bless. How do you think your mum would have done on Catchphrase?

Adei:  Aahh maybe not so good, but I think when the pressure is there, you just have to try your best and then you have no regrets so who knows!!
Andy:  Has it sunk in that you've won Catchphrase yet?

Adei:  Now that I've finally seen it on tv and everyone knows, yes I think it's sunk in but I'm still processing all the good wishes from people.
Picture
Andy:  We learnt from the episode you're ambidextrous.  So, what can you do with both your hands?

Adei:  Hahaha I can play pool, iron, write,
That's about it.
Picture
Andy:  There's been talks on Twitter about you joining the celebrity cast of Strictly Come Dancing this year or appearing in the jungle on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.  So, who's your ideal campmate and who would you like to be paired with on Strictly?

Adei:  Aaawh haha I haven't heard about any of that but I love Charlotte Crosby, I think she's a legend so I'd camp with her and I'd dance with anyone haha.
Picture
Andy:  Thank you for your time, Adei, and unless there's any chance of borrowing a fiver, I'll leave you to celebrate. All the best.

Adei:  Hahah Awh and to you.
Adei is as lovely as you seen on Catchphrase.  Such a delight to talk to.

WE WANT WHITMORE

Laura Whitmore presenting I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here: NOW, on ITV2, is a perfect mix of television gold.

With her comedic take on Ant & Dec's bridge link before the opening titles, Laura is ideal for the I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here's naughtier sister show.

She has everything, wit, personality, charisma, professionalism and respect for viewers and her panelists.
Picture
With Joe Swash on hand to give his vast knowledge of jungle life after winning the main show in 2008, the two have a great chemistry bouncing off each other with fantastic banter and subtle flirting between the pair.

Apart from having personality, Laura has a brilliant way of holding the programme together when Rob Beckett & Joe Swash caper around, she's always the first in-line to calm the situation down and keep to the subject spoken about during any segment of the show.

Picture
Laura excels at asking the right questions to get the best out of everyone, she is on the ball with Anthony McPartlin & Declan Donnelly which is very difficult to do with two people as close as Ant & Dec are.  When there are shy callers, Laura has a wonderful knack in coaxing them out of their shell, more often than not.

Her irish accent is a great way to connect with more viewers, showing that I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here is not just an all English broadcast and her fashion evolves with the times.

Picture
In short, Laura Whitmore is the superglue who holds the programme together like one great big padlock.

She's cute, she's funny, she's the girl next door, she's Laura Whitmore who is the perfect host for I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here: NOW on ITV2.

To close, I will say Ant & Dec may have tried to get the hashtag; #ShedTubeStarBottleChestKeysCoordinatesCompassFoggyJimmyChopper, trending on Twitter not so long ago but for the 2015 I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here: NOW series, I have a hashtag that should be trending on social media networks and that is #WeWantWhitmore.

An Evening With Laura

Watching Laura Naylor on Gala Bingo TV via TVCatchup.com was amazing.

I've missed the Quiz Call-like programmes on TV, it's not been the same since ITV Play seized broadcast.

It's good to see that that style of quiz shows aren't gone forever.

I hope this continues as it's a fantastic way for the regular public to feel a bit special by getting their voices/names on television while winning the odd couple of quid here and there. Plus, the chit-chat during the broadcast is full of harmless banter which is what you want in a show such as what this is.

When Laura's career progresses, her audience will follow suit as her presenting style is that of a good friend telling you what's happening, her hosting is like just watching a mate on TV and that's what you want when you're watching that type of programme. She makes it out like we'd all love to go and play the games while having a cup of tea at her house. It's very informal, relaxed and very friendly.

You can catch Laura present Gala Bingo TV on 21st, 24th and 30th September then she'll be surprising us with various appearances throughout October.

Gala Bingo TV is live 19:00 - 00:00 every night on TVCatchup.com

Tweet the show with the hashtag ‪#‎GalaBingoTV‬.
