Barnum the stage show musical opened it's circus tent in His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen on 18 November 2014 at 19:30.

With Brian Conley & Linzi Hateley leading the multi-talented ensemble & swing, the production was magnificent.

Not one member of the entire cast were boring to watch, every individual on the stage brought charisma to a wonderful performance.

Literally from start to finish Barnum was full of drama, excitement, enjoyable music, comedy and even an elephant, but where would any respectable circus be without one of those animals?

I will not give too much away as you should go in and see for yourself the glamour of the show.

My eyes did not know where to look, every section of the stage from the roof to the floor was filled with acrobatics and the skills the cast hone to perform such stunts is unfathomable as my jaw was on the ground in amazement.

Brian Conley worked very hard as P.T. Barnum, he was on the stage for almost the entire performance.  His acting was fantastic as he could not be any further away from "it's a puppet" from his Television Programme, The Brian Conley Show produced by London Weekend Television.  Brian did not make Barnum all about him as he would in his earlier LWT Television programmes, he complimented Linzi Hateley very well as they had brilliant chemistry together playing husband & wife.

Linzi Hateley is a wonderful casting as she has appeared in many broadway musicals such as, Chicago and Les Miserables.   Her voice is very beautiful to listen to and I will be checking out her music very soon as I would love to hear her again.

I may not have mentioned every single member of the cast by name but that does not take away the talent they all have, all should be very proud of themselves.

Cy Coleman led a wonderful orchestra.

When you are going to see the show, get to your seats early, you will see why when you get there.

In a few words, I say Barnum was mesmerisingly spectacular.
