Breaking news in the sports entertainment world. WWE SmackDown Live superstar, Randy Orton, has been pulled from tonight's WWE Backlash pay-per-view due to an undisclosed medical complication.
Randy Orton will not face Bray Wyatt at tonight's WWE SmackDown Live pay-per-view on the WWE Network.
Professional wrestling report site, NoDQ.com, has documented that Randy Orton did not appear at a WWE live event in Raleigh, North Carolina last night, however Steve Carrier of No DQ has stated that The Viper is on a limited appearances contract. However, it has been mentioned that Randy Orton's injury was reportedly to be cleared for tonight's event.

WWE SmackDown Live's commissioner, Shane McMahon, and its General Manager, Daniel Bryan, will have to pull something out of the bag for the blue brand's big event as only six matches were scheduled for tonight, with WWE Backlash now down to five contests and it being a 3 hour event, it's a wonder what bonus matches we'll see on the card this evening.

This cannot be good news for the Tuesday Night WWE programme as former WWE World Champion, Alberto Del Rio, who was also a WWE SmackDown Live superstar and a huge addition of Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan's roster, was released from his contract on his request last week.
We will have to find out the answers to all these questions when WWE SmackDown Live presents WWE Backlash on the WWE Network at 8pm eastern / 5pm pacific.
